So this happened on the Steampunk page on FB.
The page owner posted this↓ artwork from the comic series Lady Mechanika
I didn’t agree with artist’s comment about not being “wildly culturally sensitive”. And wondered about the use of Native clothing in the piece but I do not know enough about Native cultures to call out anything and am quite sure it is not my place to voice for PoCs in anyway.
Then this shitstorm↓ of explaining away/derailing/privilege shitting followed suite.
